Today I am here with a review on L'Oreal Paris' Fibralogy Hair care line. I was sent the products for free by Influenster Canada and L'Oreal Paris but I am still here to provide you with an honest review.
They choose the perfect person to send these products to try out and review because I have SUPER thin, limp and lifeless hair. I constantly have trouble trying to get my hair to at least look voluminous.
I was sent three full size products: the shampoo, the Fibralogy booster, and the conditioner. It's very important that after shampooing and rinsing, you apply in the booster and leave it in (do not rinse it out yet), then apply the conditioner on top of the booster and rinse those two out together.
The hair care line promises to deliver visibly thicker after 5 applications but to also instantly thicken on your first wash. As I am writing I have washed my hair with this hair care line 4 times. I do see that my hair is much thicker than it was before. I can especially see and feel the thickness when I put my hair in a ponytail.
My first wash I felt some thickness added to my hair. The second wash I felt even more of a difference. By the third and fourth wash my hair seemed much more voluminous than from before I started. That being said the first wash I used the booster and conditioner on my roots. I always avoid using conditioner on my roots because it makes my roots way more flat than they already are. But I decided to try with the booster thinking maybe it would add thickness and volume. It didn't add volume, my roots were still flat so for the rest of the washes I would only use the booster and conditioner away from my roots.
Some other things I wanted to bring up: the smell of these products are amazing! They made my hair smell so fresh. They also made my hair super silky, smooth, and soft. I was worried maybe the formula wouldn't provide moisture to my hair but it has made my hair super silky. The other great thing about this product are the prices. L'Oreal hair products are usually very affordable compared to salon brands. I saw these at my local drugstore for about $6 for each product separately (each are sold separately).
After 4 washes I am really happy with my hair getting thicker and will continue to use these products. Thanks L'Oreal Paris and Influenster!
