Review: Secret Clear Gel Deodorant

Hey guys! I received the Secret Clear Gel deodorant in the scent Cocoa Kiss for free to try out and test out. I'm going to give you my honest review. My first impression was that I loved this deodorant. It was MUCH better compared to what I was using at the time (Dove Dry Spray). The Secret Clear Gel leaves absolutely no white marks! Which is perfet because most of my clothes are black lol. It's also a lightweight gel formula that glides on easily with no residue or stickiness. The scent is REALLY sweet and at first pleasant. Sometimes the scent can get annoying though...but I like that it doesn't smell like a powdery deodorant and is more like a sweet body spray smell. Now, what I really didn't like about this product is the use of aluminum in the deodorant. Studies have shown that aluminum can cause an increase in the risk of breast cancer. This is really concerning. I really like the product but it would be better if they could take off aluminum as an ingredient. I am currently using a deodorant that does not contain aluminum. It's really great at protecting from perspiration but seeing that it can also cause a heath risk I don't think I will be buying this product again in the future. The only reason being the aluminum as an ingredient. It's a shame because the deodorant was great for hot summer days! Kept me smelling good, no white marks and no sweating! Let me know in the comments below if having aluminum in the deodorant will also stop you from buying this product!
